Grant allows CRF to bring financing to even more underserved communities across the Midwest
MINNEAPOLIS - March 29, 2013 - Community Reinvestment Fund, USA, a nonprofit organization that improves the lives of disadvantaged people and strengthens distressed communities through innovative finance, today announced it received a $10,000 grant from State Farm. This is the first grant made to CRF by State Farm.
The contribution directly supports CRF's dedication to creating positive impact in America's underserved areas by providing small businesses access to the financing they need to grow and create jobs and funding affordable housing. With these grant funds, CRF will focus on low-income communities across Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa, Missouri, and Minnesota.
"We are extremely grateful to State Farm for their support of CRF's mission," said Frank Altman, president and chief executive officer for CRF. "This grant will enable CRF to provide opportunity to more individuals and families living and working in low-income communities."
