Do you work for another organization? Where do you work? How would you describe your current role?
Fifth Third Bank, Chief Corporate Social Responsibility Officer. I lead the bank’s CSR strategy, inclusive of community giving, volunteerism, corporate citizenship programs, impact reporting, and alignment with ESG performance for the bank.
Tell us a little about yourself and your experiences. How did this experience lead to your passion for economic justice?
I have worked in the community development field for the last 20 years of my career leading CRA lending, investment and service performance for the bank. Prior to working in CRA, I held roles in Branch Management, Commercial Credit and Retail Training.
Why were you interested in serving on the CRF Board of Trustees?
CRFs mission closely aligns to my passion of supporting underserved communities, individuals and businesses in gaining access to opportunities that create economic mobility.
What goals do you have for CRF?
Listen to the voice of the community and ensure overarching strategy aligns with the greatest needs. Elevate CRFs voice around these core issues and advocate for the needed resources and policy changes to drive change.
Where do you see opportunities for CRF or others to help create a more equitable economy for all?
Social justice advocacy and targeted efforts/programs/initiatives to address the underlying causes of the economic inequalities we see for black and brown communities, individuals and businesses.

What do you do for fun?
I enjoy traveling, listening to live music, and spending time with family.
