DevOps Engineer

The Connect2Capital team helps small businesses connect to a network of community lenders that offer transparent and responsible financing options designed to help them grow and thrive. Connect2Capital simplifies the business loan process for those who may be deemed ineligible for traditional financing options, without resorting to high-priced alternatives.

As a member of the Connect2Capital product team, you will be responsible for ensuring that the entire suite of Connect2Capital applications runs smoothly. In addition, you will ensure those applications are continuously updated by developing CI/CD pipelines, code quality metrics, UI automation tests, unit tests, and integration tests. You will also be involved with monitoring the reliability of our applications while they run, triaging exceptions as they come up, and creating alerts based on unexpected system behavior.

This position may be fully remote and will not require face to face client and/or staff interaction.


  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions and/or Azure Pipelines
  • Develop automations to help our development team move faster
  • Improve code quality of the system through a combination of code reviews and automated code quality metrics
  • Develop and maintain UI automation tests, unit tests and integration tests
  • Consult and focus on improving the scalability of systems
  • Monitor applications for outages or unexpected behavior
  • Triage and address critical bugs as they arise
  • Identify the limits of our systems before our customers do

  • Bachelor’s in computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 1+ years experience as a DevOps engineer or similar related work
  • Experience developing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, or other relevant experience such as Travis)
  • Experience with C# (.NET / .NET Core)
  • Experience with Containerization / container orchestration
  • Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Jest, XUnit or NUnit (or other relevant testing framework)
  • Experience with UI automation (i.e. Selenium or Selenium-based tech such as Cypress or Canopy)
  • Experience with JMeter, K6 (or other relevant benchmarking)
  • Experience with Azure and TypeScript or JavaScript
