Digital Marketing Specialist

Reports to: Director of Digital Experience

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Digital Marketing Specialist will be an independent and strong creative thinker who is also technically capable. You will be responsible for managing digital campaigns from concept through completion. Working with internal stakeholders, you will provide input into the strategy while working on several concurrent projects including managing digital campaigns, email marketing, customer database management, social media marketing, and customer journey analytics. You will also have a deep understanding of content publishing strategies and the underlying technologies to support CRF’s digital initiatives. The ability to bring fresh ideas and concepts with the technical acumen is vital.

Reporting to the Director of Digital Experience, you will become a key member of a versatile group of inspired and creative marketing professionals who thrive on creating effective marketing campaigns. The work environment is fast-paced and results-oriented where compelling ideas and design make a difference.

The successful candidate will use their knowledge skills, and abilities to support CRFs growth plan; brainstorm, execute and optimize our digital footprint to meet organizational goals; collaborate with internal teams to create enhanced user experience; successfully measure and assess performance and make recommendations based upon performance; and build relationships internally and externally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Technical

  • Plan, execute, and optimize all web, SEO/SEM, database marketing, email, social media, and display advertising campaigns
  • Creation and maintenance of sales-enablement tools and materials
  • Brainstorm new and creative lead generation strategies
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests
  • Create, manage, and maintain multiple WordPress websites
  • Develop wireframes and visual prototypes to support product and program development
  • Identify critical conversion points, drop off points and optimize user funnels
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, relevant trends, and insights

Analytics and Reporting

  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assesses against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Evaluate, analyze, and make recommendations for end-to-end customer experiences across multiple channels and customer touchpoints

Social Media/Marketing

  • Help to facilitate, produce, and record webinars/podcasts
  • Design, build, and maintain our social media presence

Relationship Management

  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
  • Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners when necessary

Qualifications

Education and Certification(s)

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field

Experience

  • Three to five years of experience in digital marketing
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools
  • Working knowledge of UX and best practices
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Technical knowledge of WordPress, PHP
  • Understanding of User Experience techniques
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Ability to manage deadlines and adhere to project schedule
  • Team oriented. Strong interpersonal, brainstorming and collaboration skills. Good balance between creativity and practical flexibility
  • Working knowledge email marketing/automation software
  • Understanding of web standards and accessibility
