Enterprise Business Data Analyst Intern

About the Position
We are seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our Enterprise Data Management team at CRF. This role provides an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in documenting business processes and business data across the enterprise. The intern will contribute to the development of an Enterprise Data Business and Data Glossary, ensuring consistency and clarity in data usage across the organization.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
- Work with business stakeholders to document business processes related to business functions.
- Identify and document the business data used in these processes to create a comprehensive data glossary.
- Assist in the development of clear and structured documentation for Lead Generation, Underwriting, and Servicing systems.
- Utilize Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio to create process flow diagrams, data definitions, and other technical documentation.
- Support the team in ensuring that business data is consistently defined and aligned with enterprise data governance policies.
About You
- Currently a rising junior or senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- Strong business analysis and technical writing skills.
- Familiarity with business process documentation and understanding of data governance principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to create process flow diagrams using Visio (preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail.
Key Competencies & Preferences
- Prior coursework or internship experience in business analysis, data management, or technical writing.
- Experience working with enterprise data systems or databases is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
Candidates must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
