Full-Stack Application Developer

About the Position

As a member of the Community Reinvestment Fund (CRF) Technology product team, you will be a critical part of a small and nimble team. You will help to plan and build out highly interactive frontend web apps, secure frontend APIs, scalable backend services. You will also be tasked with enhancing and maintaining existing APIs used in mission-critical applications which help our partners deliver great service for their small-business customers.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to understand project requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Work with the team in development of front-end React Applications and backend .NET APIs and applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues
  • Design, document and develop new APIs and backend services
  • Work with partners to assist in development of integrations with our systems
  • Implement unit and integration tests
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment and maintenance
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in web development; using this knowledge to provide suggestions for improvements to enhance products

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or related field), or equivalent work experience
  • 3-7 Years relevant experience in the field
  • Experience writing secure RESTful APIs
  • Experience with C# (.NET / .NET Core)
  • Experience with React JS and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with Containerization / Docker
  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL persistence (Postgres, T-SQL)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with other developers, stakeholders, and partners

Preferred If You Have

  • Desire to stay current on modern technologies to help improve our products
  • Familiarity with Test-Driven-Development
  • Experience with ASP.NET Core
  • Experience with GraphQL
  • Experience with Azure services (such as Cosmos DB)
