Krysta Pate Appointed to the Michigan State Land Bank Authority Board

Governor Gretchen Whitmer has appointed Community Reinvestment Fund, USA’s (CRF) Krysta Pate to serve on the Michigan State Land Bank Authority Board of Directors. The State Land Bank Authority works to create a positive economic impact on Michigan communities. Congratulations to Krysta and the other appointees!

Detroit: A Place to Call Home

Krysta is the Midwest Program Director at CRF and manages the Detroit Home Mortgage (DHM) program. Launched in 2016, DHM is an innovative program designed to make home ownership more accessible in Detroit by partnering with banks and local government.

Her passion for closing the home ownership opportunity gap has helped DHM grow and provide affordable homes for Detroiters.

Dedicated to Home Ownership

Krysta’s commitment to helping others own their own home began after she took a job in banking and saw firsthand the hardships that poverty creates. A couple of decades later, she is more passionate than ever about helping people achieve their dream of owning a home in Detroit. She is driven to “create home ownership opportunities for low- to moderate-income families and people of color.”

Congratulations on your appointment, Krysta! We’re proud to have you on the CRF team!
