Dan Komarek oversees the Risk, Credit Policy and Asset Management shared services (functions) for CRF and its affiliates. He is also responsible for managing CRF’s Internal Audit process, chairing our Loan Committee meetings, and facilitating presentations and reporting to the Audit and Risk Management committees, as well as the Board of Trustees.
Prior to joining CRF in 2005, Dan spent 14 years with U.S. Bancorp in several management positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as a senior portfolio risk manager with the Credit Administration Department. Prior to his work with U.S. Bancorp, Dan was a senior investment manager at ITT Capital Resources Group for three years and also spent 10 years in senior audit and consulting positions with KPMG, Peat Marwick, and Grant Thornton.
Dan also has several years’ experience serving on the boards of nonprofit organizations. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) from the University of Wisconsin and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Business.
