Minneapolis, MN – June 25, 2026 – Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF), is pleased to announce the election of Kimberly Latimer-Nelligan back to its Board of Trustees. Kimberly previously served on CRF’s Board from 2005 to 2021 and returns with continued dedication to CRF’s mission to expand economic opportunity for small businesses and communities by reimagining the way capital and resources flow.
Kimberly is President of the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a leading Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) with $1 billion in assets under management and more than $3.5 billion invested in community projects since its founding in 1984. She oversees LIIF’s lending, investing, and programmatic activities as well as its strategic initiatives. Over the past four years, LIIF has deployed more than $1 billion in support of affordable housing, schools, health clinics, and early care and education facilities.
Before joining LIIF in 2008, Kimberly spent over 20 years at Citigroup, most recently as Managing Director of National Lending and Investments, overseeing a $3 billion business within Citibank Community Development. She has also served on the Board of Raza Development Fund. She holds a B.A. in Economics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
