Senior Director of Product Management

About the Position

The Senior Director of Product Management provides strategic leadership and vision for CRF’s product portfolio, ensuring that products and platforms align with organizational strategy, customer needs, and market opportunities. This role is responsible for defining and executing the enterprise-wide product strategy and roadmap, overseeing the full product lifecycle, and leading a team of product managers to deliver high-impact, mission-aligned solutions.

The Senior Director of Product Management partners closely with executive leadership, Technology, Programs & Partnerships, and external stakeholders to translate business and mission priorities into scalable, user-centered product solutions. This role continually evaluates market trends, customer insights, and emerging technologies to guide innovation and ensure CRF delivers relevant, high-value tools to the marketplace.

As a champion for CRF’s products and platforms, the Senior Director of Product Management serves as a key internal and external advocate, supporting adoption through strategic communication, enablement, and training. This role ensures that products are well-positioned, well-supported, and effectively leveraged to advance CRF’s mission and impact.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Product Strategy and Leadership

  • Define and own the enterprise product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned with CRF’s mission and business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the Product Management team, setting clear expectations and fostering a high-performing, user-centered culture
  • Oversee prioritization of product initiatives, balancing customer needs, organizational capacity, and strategic impact
  • Partner with Technology and Program & Partnerships team to ensure effective execution of product development and delivery
  • Establish and monitor product performance metrics to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making
  • Lead successful launch of new products, platforms, features, and major enhancements
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability across the business function

Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management

  • Serve as a strategic partner to executive leadership on product direction, investment decisions, and innovation opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors
  • Demonstrate product portfolio architectural thinking and design at a business and capability level
  • Act as a visible champion and spokesperson for CRF’s products internally and externally
  • Ensure effective communication, training, and enablement to drive adoption and maximize value of CRF tools
  • Gather and synthesize stakeholder and customer feedback to inform product strategy and ongoing enhancements

Market Research, Innovation, and Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct and oversee market research, competitive analysis, and customer discovery to identify trends and opportunities
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and platforms to inform innovation and modernization efforts
  • Drive process and systems improvements across Product Management and Technology teams
  • Ensure product practices reflect industry best practices and user-centered design principles

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Technology, or related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, including leadership of product teams
  • Proven experience developing and executing product strategy and roadmaps
  • Demonstrates executive presence in leading and navigating both internal and external discussions.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Experience with product management tools, data analytics, and performance metrics
  • Strong understanding of Agile and modern product development methodologies

Preferred

  • Experience progressing from development roles to leading or collaborating with a product development team(s). Ability to lead development sprints.
  • Ability to code, or quickly learn to code, using a scripting language
  • Deep understanding of the end-to-end product lifecycle, from market and business development through engineering execution, roadmap prioritization, product launch, and continuous feedback-driven enhancement.
  • Experience in financial services within the nonprofit or for-profit sectors

$170,000 to $190,000 Annually (exempt)
