Pathways for Economic Opportunity

CRF works closely with national, community, corporate and private family charitable foundations to help strengthen social and economic outcomes for communities throughout the United States. Our foundation partners share our commitment to community revitalization, empowerment, inclusion and economic justice. CRF partners with foundations to create solutions that address complex and entrenched problems such as fragmented funding opportunities for minority small business owners, investment in critical community infrastructure, revitalizing depressed housing markets and more.

CRF leverages its national scope and network to bring large-scale philanthropic support together with local, place-based community resources and corporate funders to create real, sustainable and lasting change for communities with economic challenges. CRF also frequently acts as a connector, bringing foundations and other stakeholders together to tackle larger, systemic problems that require cross-sector support and collaboration.

We actively seek support from foundations that can enable us to create and pilot new community solutions, expand programs to more communities, build the capacity and connectivity of our CDFI partners and innovate ways to continually streamline the flow of capital to underserved communities.
