We’re excited to share that Tamiko Bailey, president and CEO of Bailey’s Premier Services, was named the 2024 Small Business Person of the Year in the state of Texas by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). This week, Tamiko and winners representing other states were recognized in Washington D.C. at the SBA’s National Small Business Week Award Ceremonies.

“It was an honor to receive this award and to celebrate with the other winners from across the country,” Tamiko said.

Bailey’s Premier Services is a multi-state defense contractor that provides aircraft maintenance and other support services to the United States government and state/local agencies. Tamiko launched Bailey’s Premier Services from her garage in 2010, and today the business has more than 160 employees working at military bases across 11 states. Bailey’s Premier Services also expanded its operations internationally and this year the business will begin services in the United Kingdom.

Tamiko also attended the 2024 SBA Small Business Awards Luncheon in the Dallas/Fort Worth area this week near her business headquarters. This is one of the largest regional events that recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs and small businesses in North Texas.

CRF’s VP of Lending Jennifer Ericson, who has worked with Tamiko on several loans with CRF, attended the awards luncheon as well.

“Tamiko’s dedication and perseverance as an entrepreneur is truly inspiring,” Jennifer said. “It has been a pleasure to work with her and witness the tremendous growth of her business. I was honored to represent CRF at the luncheon this week to show our support for Tamiko.”

Congratulations to Tamiko and the entire Bailey’s Premier Services team!
