The two-day summit, which will take place March 13-14 at Metro State University in St. Paul, is a gathering for local entrepreneurs to network with other small business owners and build relationships with local capital providers. As Twin Cities Director of Community Advancement, Anisha works with community stakeholders to create a more fair, responsive, and accessible community finance system in the Twin Cities. These efforts create new strategies that build stronger local economies, create, jobs, and support upward economic mobility in neighborhoods and transit corridors in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area.
A native of Minneapolis, Murphy has dedicated her career to the pursuit of equity, justice and community improvement. She began her career at the Minnesota Department of Human Services, followed by work for the Children’s Defense Fund, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and the U.S. Department of Veteran’s Affairs.
