As CRF’s SVP of Platform & Technology Services, Patrick leads a team of software engineers, product/program managers, designers, and analysts that support CRF’s three core technology platforms – CRF Connect, CRF Exchange, and CRF Insights – as well as CRF’s Fund Management and Administration services. These tools have been used to deploy more than $600 million in total capital to underinvested communities around the country. Patrick continues to build investment and technology partnerships with banks, institutional investors, nonprofits, and philanthropies to increase access to capital, support services, and resources for small businesses and entrepreneurs with a focus on job, wealth, and asset creation in low- and moderate-income communities. He is also responsible for the research and development of innovative new products and programs in advancement of CRF’s organizational mission and vision.

Patrick has extensive experience leading strategy, program design, and project execution for high-impact organizations in the economic development, entrepreneurship, and impact investing sectors. His passion is finding opportunities to bring the enormous benefits of technology into the community and economic development sector in a manner that is non-extractive, culturally appropriate, and purpose driven. Patrick is an effective coalition builder with a history of developing durable multi-stakeholder partnerships and a successful track record of designing and executing multi-million-dollar initiatives that create positive social impact and drive sustainable revenue outcomes.

He earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees, one in economics and one in political science, along with a Minor in Latin American Studies from the University of Maryland. He is a graduate of the CIVICUS Program for leaders in a multi-cultural society, the Stanford Artificial Intelligence for Social Innovation Program at the d.school, and immersive courses in UX/UI Design and Front-end Web Development.
