Community Reinvestment Fund, USA (CRF) was founded on a simple, but big idea: transform the community development finance system so all people have the opportunity to realize their full potential.
Learn more about CRF’s mission and values.
Over the past 30 years, CRF has continually worked to meet this goal by developing innovative financial products, supporting other mission-driven lenders, and breaking down community development barriers.
In 2017, CRF established an internal Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee to increase intercultural competence and better serve the many diverse communities we work with across the United States.
CRF is working with the YMCA’s Equity Innovation Center, who introduced CRF to Impact Lives for a portion of the work.
Dr. Ramon A. Pastrano IV of Impact Lives says, “I have been impressed with CRF’s genuine commitment to its employees and the community it serves. By recognizing existing barriers and pursuing equity and inclusion CRF is creating an environment where a clear path for access and opportunity is available and supported through cultural competence.”
