“These businesses were struggling to access capital prior to the pandemic and when it happened, it really showed the disinvestment in these entrepreneurs who needed the money most.” Said Murphy “When a crisis like COVID-19 happens, minority-owned businesses didn’t have that cushion to fall back on.”
