CRF Receives a $1.83 Million Rapid Response Program Grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury’s CDFI Fund

CRF has been awarded a $1.82 million Rapid Response Program grant from the U.S. Department of the Treasury CDFI Fund. The grant will help CRF quickly respond to the economic challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, especially in underinvested communities.

“Many businesses are still feeling the impact of the COVID-19 economic crisis, particularly businesses in under-resourced communities,” said Frank Altman, co-founder and CEO of CRF. “This grant will help us continue to bring capital to these communities at scale in order to improve access and achieve an even stronger recovery for the small businesses that need it the most.”

The U.S. Department of the Treasury awarded $1.25 billion in COVID-19 relief funds through its CDFI Rapid Response Program to 863 CDFIs across the country. Congratulations to all of the other grantees. Together we can support a strong economic recovery for small businesses and communities across the country.
