Matt Roth joins CRF as CEO.

2022
CRF and Conduit Capital partner to create RuralWorks Partners, a joint venture with the mission to increase economic mobility, generate community wealth, and build a more equitable and resilient rural economy.

2020-today
CRF partners with public, private, philanthropic and other small business support organizations to develop, launch and administer local and regional small business recovery programs, resulting in the deployment of hundreds of millions of dollars.

2020
CRF partners with its nationwide network of partners to quickly deploy $700 million in Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans and other emergency financing to small business during the COVID-19 pandemic.

2016
CRF launches Detroit Home Mortgage to help home buyers overcome appraisal gap challenges in the city.

2015
CRF launches SPARK, its online small business loan origination platform. CRF launches Connect2Capital, an online small business lending marketplace.

2008
CRF and  Co-Founder, Frank Altman receive the Social Capitalist Award (“45 Social Entrepreneurs Who Are Changing the World”) from Fast Company Magazine.

2000
CRF and other organizations help create the New Markets Tax Credit program.
