Anissa Keyes named MN’s SBA Minority-Owned Small Business of the Year

We are thrilled to announce that Anissa Keyes, owner of Arubah Emotional Health Services has been named the Small Business Administration (SBA)’s 2019 MN Minority-Owned Small Business of the Year.

About Anissa and Arubah Emotional Health Services

Anissa is devoted to, and a tireless advocate for, the distinct but often overlapping communities of North Minneapolis, the African-American community in Minnesota, and those unable to connect with or afford mental health services.

In 2012, Anissa combined her social service expertise with her entrepreneurial drive and opened Arubah Emotional Health Services with a mission to enable, empower and help facilitate personal restoration by providing services to individuals, couples, families and groups. Under her leadership, the business has grown better year over year, always with the aim of serving more people, more effectively.

CRF’s Involvement

When Anissa wanted to expand and purchase a new location in North Minneapolis that would function as a fourth service location and a business headquarters, she turned to CRF for an SBA loan to purchase the building and make it ready for use.

Congratulations, Anissa! We are proud to support you and your excellent work!
