CRF President & CFO, Jennifer Anderson, named a 2018 Top Woman in Finance

We are thrilled and proud to announce that CRF’s president and chief financial officer, Jennifer Anderson, has been selected as one of 2018’s Top Women in Finance by Finance & Commerce.

A Career Dedicated to Inclusive Finance

Throughout her career, Jennifer Anderson has always been focused on promoting financial inclusion. After the financial crisis, this passion was further ignited as she saw the need for more affordable housing and made it her mission to apply her technical skills towards bridging this gap. Jennifer joined CRF in 2015, seeing a perfect fit between her personal values and CRF’s mission to improve lives and strengthen communities through innovative financial solutions.

Jennifer believes in the power of connection and the idea that the best way to create a positive impact is to rally key players around a shared goal.

Over the past year, she has worked to create and implement CRF’s new strategic growth plan, the expected outcomes of which are

  • measurable reductions in poverty,
  • increased access to capital,
  • and a proliferation of equitable economic opportunities.

A Voice for the People

Jennifer believes that employees are an organization’s most valuable asset and has been a vocal supporter for breaking down silos throughout her career. She is especially passionate about the power of mentorship and is an advocate for every one of her colleagues.

Beyond CRF

Jennifer is an active participant in her community outside of CRF and serves on the boards of the Twin Cities Land Bank, Family Housing Fund, and Trustone Financial. At the latter, she is helping to draft their new strategic plan focusing on financial inclusion through literacy. Closer to her home in Stillwater, she is a regular volunteer both at her church and at Valley Outreach, Stillwater’s food shelf, and enjoys the chance to connect directly with the people being served at each.

Throughout all of her work, Jennifer establishes a clear vision and creates a path on which she walks alongside her community to reach a shared goal.

From all of us at CRF, congratulations — we’re proud to call you a “CRFer!”
